Job duties include but are not limited to :

  • Supervising the front office operations as directed by hotel management
  • Working front desk shifts and assisting, training, coaching, and guiding the front desk team
  • Ensuring all associates follow CMC and Hilton / Embassy Suites policy and guidelines while maintaining guest satisfaction standards
  • Reporting directly to the assistant general manager
  • Interfacing with the previous shift and managers to be updated on hotel activities
  • Providing expedient check-in / check-out service
  • Being knowledgeable of hotel property and in-house events
  • Providing guests with information concerning hotel policies and amenities / services
  • Assisting in reaching monthly brand standard goals in regard to customer service, employee training, and brand recognition
  • Scheduling front desk associates keeping hours in budget and overtime under control via manpower reporting
  • Supervising daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Verifying all front office associates are in uniform and name tag is present, ensuring associates are following CMC dress code policy
  • Training, directing the work of, resolving issues / problems and coaching and counseling the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation
  • Demonstrating positive leadership characteristics, which inspire team members to exceed standards
  • Supervising the efficient operations of the front desk including check in / out procedures as well as familiar with all three working shifts to include proficiency with the night audit shift
  • As a supervisor you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring the front office team
  • Ensuring that all brand quality standards and requirements are completed daily
  • Ensuring security for the hotel's customers, employees, and property assets
  • Executing any other tasks or duties deemed necessary by hotel management for the successful operation of the property
  • Job requirements :

  • Minimal 1 year hotel experience is required
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
  • Clean background check, and reliable transportation a must
  • Must possess solid basic accounting and math skills, be comfortable with computers and have excellent customer service and communication skills
