About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shifts Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience preferred License : Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California Certifications : American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy- Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments Job Description : Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy treatment and formulate treatment plans and goals.
- Administer physical therapy treatments and be active in both inpatient and outpatient services.- Conduct 1 : 1 patient care with one 45-minute appointment every hour.
- Perform appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on patient diagnosis.- Develop and reassess treatment plans every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient progress.
- Perform physical therapy techniques and demonstrate the use of modalities appropriate to the diagnosis.- Document progress reports for patients in a timely manner for physician follow-ups and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers.
- Participate in coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays, shared with other physical therapists.- Enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with co-workers for the best patient outcomes.
