Cabot Corporation is seeking a Finance Manager / Business Partner to join the CST Americas segment at the Billerica, MA, Business and Technology Center.

The Finance Manager / Business Partner acts as a strategic financial advisor to the Americas commercial organization. Provides specialized analysis and uses advanced techniques in reporting estimated and actual monthly, quarterly and other periodic results. Possesses well developed knowledge and skills to interpret financial information in all areas to assist and advise management. Helps shape and formulate the regional "story" that is communicated to the corporation and segment leadership. Facilitates and coordinates the annual budget process for the region. Uses advanced techniques to leverage informational systems to design reports, evaluate results and develop analytical tools to ensure the timely dissemination of information to improve business decision making and performance. The role will also serve to augment individual business specific finance resources on ad hoc projects as needed.

It reports directly to the Sr. Finance Business Partner CST Global Commercial with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the VP / Regional Business Director PC Americas.

The role is based in Billerica, MA, but is eligible to follow the current Flexible Working Arrangement / Hybrid model.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Proactively advise on critical financial matters of moderate complexity and partner with the Americas Regional Business Director to provide financial analysis and expertise for decision support
• Analyze management information, review and communicate monthly results with the regional commercial leadership team.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial performance presentations to senior leadership, effectively communicating key insights, market trends, variances, and actionable recommendations. Comfortable presenting financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Partner with commercial organization on customer margin : pricing recommendations, trend / comparative analysis, thought partnership; provides perspective on full financial portfolio.
• Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Global Business Services teams to streamline processes, and support key initiatives across departments.
• Coordinate, prepare and facilitate timely completion of monthly forecasting and annual budget processes and support management in the consolidation of annual budgets / long range plans.
• Build and maintain robust financial and operational data models using Anaplan, Power BI, and Power Query to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze operating expenses to ensure alignment with budget targets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize net working capital, improve cash flow, and drive cost-efficiency across the organization.
