About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 2+ years of operating room experience, travel experience preferred License : Kentucky RN License Certifications : BLS, NIH Must-Have : - 2 years of operating room experience- Strong skills in high acuity surgical patients Job Description : Work in an academic medical center offering advanced care, including heart, transplant, and orthopedic services.
- Participate in a rotation schedule, working Saturdays every six weeks.- Must work two out of the three major holidays.- Be adaptable and flexible with a willingness to learn across multiple service lines.
- Interaction with high-acuity patients, including neuro, ortho, thoracic, vascular, transplant, and ENT procedures.- Utilize advanced technology such as Mako Robot, DaVinci SP & XI Robots, O-Arm, and Rosa Robot.
- Maintain a positive attitude with an eagerness to expand your knowledge base.- Work in a team providing acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
