• Speciality : Outpatient Internal Medicine Clinic
• Schedule : Opportunity for 7 - 9 hr days, 4 or 5 days per week. 36 pt contact hours per week, with 4 hrs paid administrative time.

2 hr per week should be during extended hours- meaning before 8 am or after 5pm.

• Call Schedule : Rotation; 1 week about 2-3 times per year with very little calls as they are pre-screened.
• Practice Detail : 3 physicians, 1 is internal medicine along with 3 APPs
• EMR System : Cerner

Responsibilities :

• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.

• Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Required Credential(s) :

Physician MD / DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Credentialing done by Medical Staff department.

Education :

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
