Overview

The Part-Time eSports Coach is responsible for recruiting and coaching eSports student-athletes. This position works significantly with the student-athletes and department director as well as with admissions, financial aid staff and other campus employees.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and retains students for the eSports program
• Conducts coaching and instruction activities during training, practice and competition
• Coordinates off-season, practice and competition schedules
• Assists with team travel when necessary
• Oversees camps, clinics, and promotional events
• Pursues sponsorship opportunities within the eSports business world
• Ensures team compliance with all league, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
• Ensures that student-athlete and staff behavior, as well as program reputation, are in alignment with the institution values and mission
• Performs other duties as assigned
