Responsibilities
Position Summary : As a Social Media Specialist for assisting Manager, Communications Digital Media with management of our social media following across all channels and support the Snap-on franchisee network via social. Execute other focused content projects as needed.
Key Tasks :
Create, design, and write relevant content for Snap-on branded social media platforms, (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat & TikTok)Provide social media coverage at event such as our yearly tool show and key races within our race program (NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA).Create social assets that are appropriate for specific channels and brand initiatives as neededProvide social listening and monitoring of social channelsWork within established brand guidelines specific to intended style and toneMaintain private Facebook groupsAssist in overall management of Snap-on social channelsContent management of UGC & StoriesEngage customers - follow them, like their posts, and interact with them in a genuine and authentic waysResponsible for animations provided to the franchiseesProvide back-up for weekly "Key News of the Week" (KNOW) e-mail franchisee publicationProvide back-up for franchisee portalProvide support for the photography team and social content during the Snap-on Franchisee Conference (SFC)Execute other projects as requiredQualifications
Requirements :
Minimum bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related fieldMust have strong graphic design skillsStrong editor and writer3-5 years' experience administering social media channels for a multi-level organizationAttention to detail - being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasksStrong grammar and proofreading skillsCreativity and a strong sense of design. Must be proficient with Word. Excel and PowerPoint and be familiar with design software, such as InDesign and PhotoshopExcellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing work load and meeting deadlinesExcellent listening and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationshipsExcellent time-management and problem solving skillsTeam player with strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to travel and work flexible hours when needed
