About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Valid license required Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Experience with Epic, familiarity with Pyxis and SBAR systems Job Description : - Work in a 42-bed unit primarily with post-surgical patients, including those from orthopedics, urology, colorectal, bariatrics, neurology, and general surgery.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 6. - Wear royal blue scrubs during shifts. - Participate in a mandatory 13-hour orientation.
- Be prepared to work every other weekend and float as needed within the facility. - Work during major holidays as required.
- Be fully compliant with unit requirements to start on time; delays can result in assignments being pushed back by two weeks.
- Provide evidence of a flu vaccination, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted. - Be available to submit core documents and schedule any required labs within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure timely start.
