LOCATION :
San Jose, California
This private practice has more than 5 clinic locations in the Bay Area. This practice manager will primarily work out of the San Jose location, but some local travel may be required.

This physician-owned specialty private practice operates more than 5 locations in the Bay Area, with a large staff of providers working together with a support team to improve the health and well-being of patients.
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
The Practice Manager is a key member of the practice’s administrative team, supporting the staff and providers in their patient care efforts.
This is a senior-level role, responsible for the overall management and development of the organization in coordination with the Board of Directors.
The core duties of the Practice Manager are to direct, supervise, and coordinate the operation of clinical and administrative departments and facilities. This involves :
- clinical operations
- working closely with physicians
- healthcare reimbursement
- business fiscal and risk management
- human resource laws and issues
- strategic planning
- information systems management
- governance and organizational dynamics
- read, interpret, and analyze data pertaining to clinical and business performance
The practice uses the Epic EHR.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years practice management experience in a specialty environment
- experience leading multi-site operations
- strong financial acumen
- experience working with human resources
- experience with contracting and insurance plans
