Current FTE : 1.0 FTE (40 hrs / week); Billable 25 hrs / week

Reports to : Director of Care Coordination

Fully Remote Position : 100% tele-health, work from home (no travel required)

Salary Range : $70,000 per year for BCBA, $70,000-$75,000 for BCBA-D + Benefits + Profit Sharing Bonuses (quarterly)

We serve clients of all ages and deploy a telehealth model to increase access to ABA therapy services in rural and traditionally underserved communities.

Job Summary : The Family Experience Specialist (FES) is responsible for providing a high-quality experience for families, assisting families with optimizing their child’s treatment outcomes by accessing the full dosage of recommended treatment.

This includes service initiation and management, parent education for new families, individualized curriculum development, and ongoing assessment of client service stabilization.

The Family Experience Specialist must maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week. Billable hours will be achieved through ABA service initiation activities, parent education, quality assurance calls, and case management and stabilization tasks.

Essential Duties Include The Following :

  • Assist families with starting ABA services in a timely manner.
  • Understand insurance requirements and facilitate communication and education of the BCBAs and other staff regarding the requirements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for communication with families on the onset of services.
  • Provide individualized parent training for families with completed assessments and treatment goals.
  • Initiate new client services for establishing a strong therapeutic relationship and treatment program.
  • Consult with the Director of Care Coordination regarding cases where clients are unable to participate in a therapeutic dosage of treatment.
  • Participate in required meetings including quarterly administrative meetings, weekly 1 : 1 meetings with the Director of Care Coordination, and monthly care coordination meetings.
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities :

  • Familiarity with Verbal Behavior Approach and naturalistic teaching procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and community partners.
  • Technologically adept and enthusiastic.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and clinical documentation systems.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English highly preferred.

Education and / or Experience :

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field; Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D Required);

A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children with developmental delays or autism spectrum disorder as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

  • Experience with a wide range of consumer needs and conducting assessments.
  • Experience working with and training families, demonstrating an understanding of family stressors.
