The Buncher Company is a Pittsburgh, PA construction and real estate company with work sites throughout the surrounding area.
We are looking for a motivated Laborer to join our team!
Compensation : $18 hourly
$18 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it construction starts
- Clean up any tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean worksite
- Help your team with all stages of the build to make sure that the job is done as efficiently as possible
- Load, unload and prepare any tools or materials on site that will be used to complete the build, so the crew can operate efficiently
- Make sure to follow all health and safety regulations to ensure you and your crew members don’t suffer any injuries
- Perform physical labor at construction projects related to new construction, demolition, and renovation
- Assist with forming and filling foundations
- Demolition work
- Preparing and installing door frames
- General cleaning of work sites
- Loading and unloading
- Assist other workers such as Electricians, Carpenters, Operators, and Superintendents
Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred
- Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods is preferred, but we will provide training
- Our crew members must be physically able to do the work with reliable hand-eye coordination and balance
- Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity
- One year of labor experience related to construction is required
- Driver's license and ability to travel between work sites is required
- Must have the ability to carry out basic verbal and written correspondence, instructions, rules, policies
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic in order to complete job tasks
- Must be able to use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges
