Job Title : Water / Wastewater (W / WW) Project Manager

Location : San Francisco Bay Area

Compensation : $ 140,000 - $250,000

Our team of experts works collaboratively to design, manage, and implement projects that protect our water resources and improve community health and safety.

Job Summary : The Water / Wastewater (W / WW) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects.

This role involves coordinating with clients, managing project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning and Management :

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Team Coordination :

  • Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Technical Oversight :

  • Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and quality.

Client Relations :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in W / WW project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex W / WW projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Civil3D, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
