job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to observe and report any unusual activity. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in written reports. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding the standards of Allied Universal. Collaborate with team members and local authorities when necessary to address security-related concerns. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Experience with access control systems and / or badge systems is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
