The Speech-Language Pathologist supports the mission, vision, values and objectives of Saint John's Health Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, discharge planning, performing patient evaluations, establishing and implementing a plan of care, monitoring patient's progress.
The Speech-Language Pathologist should demonstrate professional communication and interpersonal skills including direct, honest and compassionate behavior.

Required Qualifications :
- Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Completion of, or eligibility for, Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Coursework / Training : Speech-Language Pathology Area of Specialization - Completion of competencies for : Therapeutic feedings, Patient transfers, and Assistance with Modified Barium Swallow studies.
- Upon hire : California Speech Language Pathologist License
- Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications :
- Coursework / Training : Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management.
- 1 year Acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
