Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in heavy equipment on-site.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy machinery.
- Repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of various equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs.
- Complete all safety checks and ensure compliance with safety standards while working.
- Keep service vehicle stocked with necessary tools and parts for efficient on-site repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in heavy equipment repair preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry .
- Proven experience as a field service technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours, including weekends.
