Job Summary :

The Lead Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the work of the Advanced Practice Providers within the Pediatric Mental Health Institute (PMHI) and the Division of Child and Adolescent Mental Health (DCAMH).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administrative Support and mentor Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across the PMHI and DCAMHMeet with APPs and ensure coordination of APPs across the PMHI and DCAMHPrimary PRiSM annual performance evaluation reviewer and secondary clinical supervisor for PMHI APPs in the DCAMH FacultyRepresent APPs on the PMHI Operational Leadership Team and DCAMH Faculty Executive CommitteeEnsure APP participation in key PHMI, DCAMH, CU College of Nursing, CU School of Medicine, and Children’s Hospital Colorado initiativesSupport the development and implementation of APP-specific initiatives across the institute in collaboration with leadership from each divisionLead and collaborate on interdisciplinary pediatric mental health workforce development, training, research, diversity and advocacy initiatives
  • Quality Improvement Participate in clinical quality and risk management activities
  • Collaboration Coordinate with CHCO APP OfficeParticipate as a member of the Advance Practice Council and attend at least 50% of the meetings annuallyHelp interview and onboard new APP’s to PMHI.

Coordinate with the Director of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Education, Pediatric Mental HealthCoordinate with the Department of Psychiatry Director of APPs
