Meliora Academy (Meliora) provides intensive and comprehensive educational services to students with autism spectrum and related disorders.
We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to provide individualized behavior intervention plans, conduct functional behavior assessments, oversee implementation of evidence-based practices, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the academic and social success of our students.
RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on thorough assessments and data analysis.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors and design appropriate interventions.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff members in the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive environment for students.
- Provide ongoing professional development and support to staff, promoting best practices in behavior analysis.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.
QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU BRING
- Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- 2 Years' experience in working with children, adolescents, and / or adults with various special needs
