Meyer Utility Structures is looking to add a Marketing Specialist to work in our Corporate Office in Memphis, TN office. This marketing professional will own broad marketing responsibilities for the business unit by owning the marketing budget, managing Meyer advertising and messaging, planning and executing all external marketing events, designing and creating marketing merchandise, and conducting market research to understand and communicate market trends (market size, current / future market capacity, market pricing, etc.).

Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.

What You'll Do :

• Own the marketing budget by aligning overall marketing spending with organizational goals, continuously tracking performance and making data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI
• Plan and attend external marketing events and other hospitality events
• Own the Meyer website
• Own the Meyer LinkedIn profile page
• Manage Meyer advertising and messaging
• Create, install, and maintain a plant / site visitation program
• Design / create marketing merchandise; manage merchandise inventory
• Own marketing collateral development and dissemination
• Respond to media requests and when necessary, initiate media coverage
• Conduct market research :
• Understand and communicate market trends (market size, current and future market capacity, market pricing, product demand, etc.); frequently provide projections
• Research, understand, and relay competitor lead times and pricing
• Monitor permit queues and advise Market Development Managers on opportunities
• Parse and advise on QuickBase e-mails and other information from Yes Energy
• At regular intervals, conduct customer surveys to ascertain voice-of-customer feedback
• Consolidate responses into an easily digestible format
