Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled EPC Estimator / Electrical Estimator to join our team in Houston, Texas. Our company specializes in constructing data centers, electrical substations, and short distribution lines
This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role and 2-3 days onsite in Houston, TX .
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the preparation of estimates for construction projects (mainly electrical HV / MV / LV).
- Utilize RS Means or similar software for construction estimation.
- Led the procurement process for construction projects, in both technical and commercial discussions, with support
from other departments until the contract signature
- Collaborate with project teams to understand the scope of work.
- Continuous learning about market trends and pricing.
- Engage with suppliers and contractors.
- Develop a Master Vendor List with qualified suppliers for new areas.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HV / MV / LV bid preparation and construction.
- Proficient in the use of RS Means or similar construction estimation software.
- Good knowledge of US suppliers and contractors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
