job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety. Demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, principles of surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, use and care of surgical instruments and equipment. Assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Understand the surgery schedule workflow and is available to meet the needs for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning. Possess an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification or be willing and eligible to obtain it within the first six months of employment High School diploma or GED Active BLS certification
