We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in the continued growth for an established architecture design firm in multiple market sectors (hospitality, multi-family, industrial, retail, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, commercial / office).

This exciting role provides an opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to play a pivotal role in developing & supporting our client's strategic business initiatives.

As the sole business development manager in our Dallas office your primary role shall be to secure new clients and build awareness of our client's capabilities through effective business development, account management and marketing communication.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time with the wider team to learn our culture and design process. Collaborate with the wider creative and management team to understand and develop strategic business development objectives.
  • Work alongside the Dallas leadership team to further develop and implement business development plan.
  • Monitor the progress and implementation of development plan and track and report results at director and team meetings.
  • Manage existing key client accounts. Identify profitable client leads that align with company strategies.
  • Represent FIRM at industry marketing events.
  • Develop unique and well-crafted copy presentation documents. Actively participate in the development of creative presentations for new business opportunities.
  • The successful candidate’s responsibilities include researching and obtaining industry data that aligns with our strategic design & repositioning goals of a client.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Development and Marketing in the architecture industry with experience in : hospitality, multi-family, industrial, retail, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, commercial / office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, social and organization skills.
  • Utilize social media and other networking channels to raise our profile and develop new business leads.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel and Word, Adobe InDesign and Salesforce etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
