Job Opportunity : Wood Assembler in Panel Assembly Department.
A client of ours located in Tualatin is looking for a Wood Assembler. If you enjoy building things, working with wood, or have a construction background, this is an excellent job to stay inside from the rain and earn good benefits.
About the Company : A leading global provider of packaging, carting, logistics and designs.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
- Construct wooden crates to specified dimensions.
- Utilize hand and power tools for cutting and assembly.
- Ensure precision in measuring and marking materials.
- Inspect finished crates for quality.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Follow work orders to meet customer specifications.
- Assist in loading and unloading crates.
- Perform routine tool and equipment maintenance.
Requirements :
- Construction or carpentry experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to use a computer (to navigate job orders)
- Must wear steel toed boots.
- Tape measure test REQUIRED.
Schedule & Pay :
- Training (Day) : Monday to Thursday, 5 : 00am-3 : 30pm
- Pay : $20 / hour
- Regular (Swing Shift) : Monday to Friday, 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am
- Pay : $22 / hour
