$4,000 sign on bonus after first month of on-site work if eligible. Performs housekeeping responsibilities in order to maintain a clean, safe environment throughout the hospital.
This role will have a focus on floor cleaning within high-visibility areas, linen distributions, and other various tasks.
Operation of auto scrubbing machinery, dry mopping, and wet floor sign placement is integral to this role. This is a Monday through Friday AM position (7AM to 3 : 30PM) that will work every other weekend and some holidays.
Job Description :
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE
1. Cleans patient rooms daily according to hospital and department standards using seven step procedures. This includes proper disinfection of all surfaces, restrooms, and floors.
Cleans patient discharges. Cleans precaution rooms according to Infection Control policies using proper disinfectants.
2. Cleans all restrooms daily according to hospital and department standards using seven step procedures. Checks and restocks paper supplies.
3. Cleans offices and conference rooms daily according to hospital and department standards using seven step procedures.
4. Cleans entrances, lobbies and waiting areas daily according to hospital and department standards using seven step procedures.
Vacuums carpets according to department procedures.
5. Cleans utility rooms and nourishment stations according to hospital and department standards using seven step procedures.
6. Cleans corridors and ancillary areas according to hospital and department standards using seven step procedures.
7. Assists in training new personnel.
8. Participates in all EVS in-service training, department meetings & safety meetings.
9. Works with basic computer programs and TDSS / EPIC device.
10. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
