MedStar Lafayette Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility conveniently located on the 10th floor of Building 2 of MedStar Health at Lafayette Centre in downtown, Washington, D.
C. This surgery center completes over 570 surgeries per month! We are hiring a Part Time (30 hrs) Preop / PACU Nurse. We have openings for a 30 hour per week position and a 40 hour per week position.
No Nights, Weekends, Holidays, or On Call!
Previous PACU experience required*
Key Responsibilities
Independently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge. In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with the physician and other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- At least 1 year of previous Preop / PACU experience required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
