My client, an International Manufacturer with over $900MM in global sales, is a leader in its niche industry of carbon and graphite products.
Their growing operation near Nashville, TN, is presently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, who will lead ongoing capital equipment (boilers, cranes, furnaces) projects to upgrade the entire plant.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Some of the company's work involves U.S. Defense Department projects. ITAR Rules will apply.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- 15 20 years of engineering experience is required.
- Demonstrated commercial projects experience.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities (P&ID and equipment drawings).
- Experience with plant maintenance systems such as boilers, power distribution, and / or heavy lifting cranes in a heavy industrial environment is required.
Will not consider package conveyor systems or automotive assembly experience.
- Efficient and effective troubleshooting skills including root cause analysis training.
- Demonstrated style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives.
- Experience as plant / facility maintenance support, work order and maintenance systems is beneficial.
COMPENSATION : $100K to $130K base salary + up to 15% in annual bonuses.
