Following a recent acquisition, the company is entering a major growth phase and is looking to bring on a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their expanding team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior FP&A Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial analysis and strategic support alongside the CEO and CFO. Key responsibilities include financial modeling, ensuring data integrity across multiple systems, and driving strategic initiatives. Job Description
Senior FP&A Responsibilities :
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed variance analysis.
- Contribute to business review materials and Board presentations, highlighting KPIs and trends for executive leadership and the private equity sponsor.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, account reclassifications, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform revenue analysis across projects, industries, geographies, and building types.
- Assist with project-level financial reviews, analyzing revenue, expenses, and margins.
- Partner with accounting, sales, production, and supporting functions to help develop budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Create ad-hoc reports and analysis for internal teams and private equity stakeholders as needed.
- Become a go-to expert for the company's financial systems and data, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Help maintain and reconcile various financial ledgers, including budget, actual, and recast entries.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements across the organization.
- Review WIP entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze trends in overbilling and underbilling and their impact on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow.
- Participate in WIP review meetings and maintain updated backlog records.
- Assist with reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple entities for the executive team and private equity firm.
- Serve as a resource for implementing and integrating systems and processes across acquired companies.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support for acquisition teams, including building and maintaining 3-statement models.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in finance or FP&A roles within construction or related industries.Higher education credentials preferredStrong understanding of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet management; experience with treasury functions is a plus.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to build complex models and analyses.Experience with ERP systems.Skilled in creating efficient reporting processes and leveraging automation or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau) to enhance insights.What's on Offer
