Your Role as a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist

In this rewarding position, you will :

• Evaluate, direct, and provide speech / language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities.
• Participate in developing and periodically reviewing the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
• Utilize your professional skills to assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, including audiologic screening.
• Observe, record, and report changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment.
• Provide instruction and training in the use of alternative communication systems when appropriate.
• Offer counsel and instruction to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain and submit documentation as required by the company and prepare timely reports.
• Participate in care coordination activities and discharge planning.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct regarding confidential information.
• Engage in internal staff development programs and obtain continuing education as required.

The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications.
