Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents? Kid Centered Therapy (KCT) is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first Mental Health Therapist at KCT, working alongside our experienced Registered Behavioral Technicians and Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts to enhance our comprehensive care services.

KCT is a leading agency specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children and adolescents. We provide therapy in natural settings such as homes, schools, and community environments.

Our goal is to support individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges, promoting their overall well-being.

What You’ll Do :

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify clients' mental health needs.
• Diagnose mental health disorders and craft tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions.
• Foster a safe, supportive therapeutic environment using diverse modalities.
• Collaborate with clients to set and achieve meaningful treatment goals.
• Handle crisis situations with immediate support and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and participate in case conferences.
• Provide psychoeducation and engage in community outreach to raise mental health awareness.

What We’re Looking For :

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Registered and Licensed Eligible in Florida (preferred).
• Previous experience in therapy and counseling is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and continuous learning.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies and practices, with cultural competence to work with diverse populations.
• Clear and Eligible AHCA Level 2 Background.
