Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute Seeking Epilepsy Physician for Academic Opportunity in Charlotte, NC

Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute-Neurology (NIN) is seeking a BE / BC Neurologist with 2- year fellowship training and clinical expertise in Epilepsy for our surgical epilepsy program.

The Neurology Department at Atrium Health is a network of 70+ neurology providers that supports 15 care locations across the greater Charlotte region.

Atrium Health administers the largest stroke network in the Charlotte metropolitan area, which is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.

Our department boasts distinguished specialty care, including Level IV and Level III Specialized Epilepsy Center, NMSS Certified Comprehensive Care Center for MS, ALS and MDA Centers of Excellence.

The growing academic department brings exciting opportunities for innovative patient care, team-based care models, teaching and research.

The position includes the opportunity to join our group of epilepsy providers and our interdisciplinary care team for the growing epilepsy surgery program, participate in research supported by our clinical research team and faculty appointment at the Wake Forest School of Medicine.

• Access to advanced techniques such as fMRI, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, advanced EEG analysis with electrical source imaging analysis, MEG scan along with robotic assisted sEEG electrode placement.
