Software Engineer II (Secret Clearance Required)

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking for a full time Software Engineer II supporting Department of Defense operations in San Diego, CA.

Data Intelligence, DI is an established small business that has supported the critical missions of our government clients since 2005.

We provide full life cycle system development, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and supporting analytical and logistics support to C4ISR and other complex systems.

Required Education, Skills & Experiences

• Bachelor of Science degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science
• Minimum three (3) years of experience (within past seven years) performing software engineering management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results for C4ISR systems
• Minimum three (3) years of experience (within past seven years) with software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems.

This experience must also include how to estimate, measure and report quality and progress of the software development effort

Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills & Experiences

• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) developing embedded real-time software
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) developing models and simulation
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) with object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) with Agile software development
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) with DevSecOps and / or complex software build plans
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) with open architecture constructs like Sensor
• Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR) / Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Open Mission Systems (OMS), Open Communication Standard (OCS);

utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)

• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) with developing and documenting software
• architecture using Cameo, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools
• Minimum of five years experience (within past 10 years) with configuration management and
• collaboration tools such as (or similar to) Git, JIRA, Collaborator, Beyond Compare and VersionOne

Salary Range $123,100-$186,900 commensurate with experience.
