Job Responsibilities :
- Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
- Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency
- Collect daily data and organize child’s program book weekly
- Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations).
Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
Requirements :
- Must hold RBT Certification from BACB
- Must have a passion for working with children and families!
- Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
- Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to : driving a personal vehicle, walking and / or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
- The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and / or crawl for extended periods of time.
