Job Description
- Experience Required : 0 to 6 months
- Education Required : High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Preferred : Pharmacy Certification
- Lifting Requirement : Up to 25 pounds
- Age Requirement : At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients with compassion and enthusiasm at all pharmacy entry points.
- Model exemplary patient care by addressing patient needs, processing orders, and directing inquiries to the pharmacist.
- Maintain a clean work environment to meet company and government standards.
- Assist team members to ensure efficient department operations.
- Utilize pharmacy computer systems to maximize efficiency and deliver optimal patient care.
- Support and contribute to company initiatives and programs.
- Complete required training and exams.
- Adhere to company, state, and federal policies and regulations, including HIPAA.
- Finalize sales using standard procedures and transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels.
- Assist with maintaining inventory levels and perform daily administrative tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- File written prescriptions and perform other duties as assigned.
