The Cypress of Charlotte currently is recruiting for a full-time Housekeeper (Monday thru Friday 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm and every other weekend) at our upscale senior living retirement community located in the SouthPark area in Charlotte, NC.

With your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, you’ll take pride in ensuring that our residents have a spotless and inviting home to relax and unwind in.

Our staff performs a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties that exceed industry guidelines and leave a lasting impression on everyone they serve.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper :

• Performs cleaning services to residential rooms daily.
• Performs scheduled deep cleaning of rooms.
• Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items. High and low dusting, sweeps, dry and wet mops, vacuums carpets and rugs.
• Cleans all bathrooms, scours, and polishes tubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment.
• Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions.
• Straightens and rearranges furniture, empty and washes wastebaskets.
• Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
• Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, squat throughout a shift, and be able to stand / walk for up to 70% of the workday.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance, and push / pull on a cart.
