Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel MedSurg Neuro Qualifications : 2 Years with 1 Year of direct MedSurg experience REQUIRED 1st Time Travelers are not ACCEPTED (Must have at least 2 successful contracts before applying) Locals are ACCEPTED REQUIRED Certs : BCLS, NIHSS Skills REQUIRED : IV Start and Telemetry Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med / Surg neuro EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Skills : PREFERRED Certs : ACLS JOB DETAILS : Cannot approve Christmas RTO RATIOS : 1 : 6. Unit will accept contracts for 13-16 weeks. 36 hrs only. SHIFT : 12HR Days If RTO includes weekends, time will be added to end of contract to make up for those dates. Travelers are required to work every other weekend. Float Requirement : Floating Required : floating required to any other MS / Tele areas, may include COVID care units. If the traveler calls in for a scheduled weekend shift, we will need to have them make up the weekend shifts based on the needs of the unit. Frequent floating may be required. PATIENT DIAGNOSES : We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many more SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
