A hospital located in Elmhurst, IL is currently seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join their team full-time! Check out the details below :
Title : Cardiac Sonographer
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Ultrasonography
Schedule : Full-time, 10hr shifts, Mon.- Fri. 6 : 30a - 7p, staggering starts and rotating weekends, on-call, and holidays
Pay : Pay determined by department equity plus a full benefits package!
The Cardiac Sonographers will be responsible for but may not be limited to :
- Obtains two-dimensional ultrasonic images of the heart including 2D echocardiograms, 2D Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.
- Assists physicians in conducting transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Obtains ultrasonic images from patients with complex health issues.
- Precepts students from the Echocardiography School.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within twelve months of position start date.
- High school diploma or GED.
- License required : ARDMS or RCS.
- Covid vaccine required, will allow medical / religious exemption.
