Senior Engineer Software Development

This opening is part of Infineon’s Graduate Program. The Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to gain enriching and diverse experiences and work side by side with experienced leaders to power your career. In your new role you will :

• Software / GUI development and verification utilizing the C++ and C# languages and JavaScript / TypeScript with the Angular, and Electron frameworks
• Experience creating and performing Unit testing, writing Test Automation scripts for GUI using testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine and Protractor.
• Lab skills to debug GUI usage with hardware circuits

You are best equipped for this task if you are / have :

• Excited about learning the latest web development technologies and frameworks (Angular, , Electron) in real-world applications
• Enjoy working on highly-skilled software design team
• Developing and applying OOP design principals and patterns you have learned in school on enterprise software.
• Understand test driven development methodology and excited about learning how to write unit and regression tests with latest test frameworks, such as Karma , Jasmine and Protractor .
• Develop hands-on hardware experience and learn debugging software with lab equipment’s and tools.
• Proficient with one of the major programming languages : JavaScript / TypeScript, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript and Python
• Self-disciplined, and a good team player
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written English

Additional / Desirable Skills :

• DC / DC or similar power solutions
• Version control systems such as GIT or BitBucket
• Serial Communication protocols like I2C / PMBus / SP I, etc.
• Bug tracking system such as JIRA
• Agile SDLC
• UI / UX design and user-friendly control flow
