What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide full life cycle systems engineering support to a mature Air Force data exploitation system, including requirements analysis and derivation, systems design, integration, training, testing, and system verification activities.
  • Leverage extensive operational experience within the AF DCGS while reviewing customer requirements to understand the operational scope of the requirement fully, deliver valuable feedback to the customer, and provide guidance during product development to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Thoroughly test and validate the system during the entire product development phase, identifying defects, proposing solutions, and verifying implemented solutions to ensure a quality product is delivered.
  • Develop and execute Acceptance Test plans and procedures, prepare and assess the system readiness, provide test data for analysis, write test reports, and conduct briefs / debriefs with the customer.
  • Develop, format, edit, and manage critical user documentation and content corresponding with system development

Who You Are

The Staff Integration and Test Engineer typically has 7+ years of experience. In addition they will have a broad background in COTS / GOTS System and Software Integration, Cyber Security Automation, and GEOINT operations.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The selected candidate will be expected to travel to Air Force sites for software installations / maintenance and will need to become Security+ certified.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Red Hat Integration and Maintenance
  • Basic Windows Server Installation & Integration experience.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity policy and controls
  • Linux / Windows Cyber Automation and deployment
  • Security+ Certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have at an active Secret Security Clearance to start, capable of obtaining TS / SCI

Desired Skills :

  • Experience with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS)
  • Automated security control monitoring
  • Experience developing and deploying Ansible playbooks
  • Unix / Linux scripting
  • Experience working across internal (LM) and external (DoD) Organizations
  • Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

  • Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons;
  • receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;

receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
