Description
The In-Home Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting potential customers in their homes and conducting a consultative sales presentation, following up as required, and developing the relationship with the ultimate goal of making a sale and developing a long-term customer relationship.
The Sales Consultant will be provided with high-quality leads and will be backed by the Marvin brand. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in the in-home selling environment and will be excited by the opportunity to sell a top-quality product.
Job Expectations :
- Represent company professionally delivering outstanding customer experience.
- In-home sales process, product demonstration, proposal development, and contract completion.
- Continued contact with customer developing repeat / referral opportunities.
- Proficient with CRM and electronic pricing tools.
- Ability to run appointments in evenings and on weekends in greater Portland, OR area.
- Continuing education on company, products, and process - always improving craft.
Experience / Skills / Q ualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years of in-home sales experience in the home improvement (or similar) industry preferred
- Experience in exterior sales, such as windows, doors, siding, roofing preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proven track record of closing sales
- Ability to lift 30lbs
