Duties and Responsibilities :

  • The Lead assigns work depending on priorities set by the Operations Manager in the Shipping Department.
  • The Lead also ensures that operators are following required duties and tasks as prescribed by Millstone SCP's and DWI's.
  • Assist in operational and quality issues that operators encounter during kit inspection and shipping operations.
  • Recommend and implement changes to DWI.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives.
  • Support and assist in the training of new operators.
  • The position includes visual inspection of medical devices and instruments which requires the ability to detect defects. 20 / 20 or corrected 20 / 20 vision is required.

    • Requirements :

  • Requires one to two years of prior experience
  • Possess basic arithmetic skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to communicate with customers
  • Ability to train other employees
  • Attention to detail
  • Mid-level familiar with Microsoft Office, ERP, and other common programs
  • Ability to read and write the English language
  • Advanced inventory control (FIFO)
  • Advanced blueprint interpretation skills
