Job Id : # of Openings : 1 Group Fitness Instructor (Part-Time) Trilogy at Redmond Ridge (Redmond, WA) Trilogy at Redmond Ridge , an upscale, resort-style, 55 and overactive-adult community, is seeking a qualified Group Fitness Instructor .
The successful candidate will provide cutting-edge group fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes that promote fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment.
About Us : Trilogy at Redmond Ridge is a private, members-only Club offering an indoor pool, group fitness classes, a fitness center, personal training, and our very own Tranquility Spa that provides massage, facials, and waxing.
Compensation : $35-$50 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities :
- Deliver excellent workout experiences to our members in each class.
- Act as a fitness resource for class participants and maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance.
- Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity for participants when necessary.
- Ensure classes begin and end on time.
- Teach respective classes on a regular basis.
- Maintain current knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications & progressions, especially for older active adults.
- Continue professional development and education.
Qualifications :
- Must possess a current fitness certification.
- Must possess and maintain current CPR / AED certification.
- Knowledge and / or training in working with active older adults.
- Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.
- Specialty certifications such as Zumba Gold, Hip Hop, or Kick Boxing are a plus but not required.
