Sr. Technical Product Manager - FO, Fulfillment Optimization

The Fulfillment Optimization (FO) team is responsible for developing and supporting technologies that enable the optimal use of Amazon and subsidiary transportation, operations, and delivery networks.

We are seeking a talented, scrappy, and driven Senior Product Manager.

As a Senior Product Manager for FO, you will identify opportunities to improve our technologies and drive initiatives to capitalize on these opportunities.

You will work with research scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and peers to design, develop, test, and deploy technology that supports our quickly evolving and growing network.

This role is a highly visible and critical position within Amazon with significant customer impact. A successful candidate will have an established background in operations and transportation, product management with strong technical ability, project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will :

  • Monitor the impact of global supply chain and transportation performance on customer experience.
  • Develop and apply sophisticated quantitative analysis to produce actionable insights.
  • Work closely with business intelligence teams to build scalable data architectures.
  • Establish and own vision for products and manage feature backlogs for functional areas.
  • Exercise judgment prioritizing between competing initiatives.
  • Provide clear direction and relevant communication to data science, engineering, and senior leader stakeholders regarding business performance and project status.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
