Enabling the movement towards next-gen chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), is looking for the best and the brightest product development engineers.
The Surfscan-ADE product division provides best-in-class unpatterned wafer inspection systems for wafer manufacturers, leading-edge IC manufacturing.
Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on products to detect yield-critical defects for process debug and excursion monitoring at sophisticated process nodes.
Surfscan flagship products include the SP5, SP7, SP8 series to detect a wide range of defects with ultimate sensitivity at the optical inspection speeds needed for defect monitoring.
The successful candidate will work in Surfscan-ADE division. You will be working in the System Engineering team to design and develop next generation unpatterned inspection tools using groundbreaking technology in high power illumination system.
We are seeking a teammate who will :
- Work with domain specialists to define system architecture and develop requirement specifications and test plans for subsystem and components
- Work with Optical, opto-mechanical and software engineering groups to define and review designs. Create and execute test plans and perform analysis to validate system performance.
Will trouble shoot system and subsystem issues and work with various subsystem teams to find and implement solutions
Support internal and external customers in implementing processes to build, use the tool efficiently and improve tool performance.
Lead advanced problem solving efforts in manufacturing and in the field
Occasional domestic and international travel will be required (Up to 20%)
