Job Title : RN / LPN / Tech
Job Specialty : Dialysis
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Days, 12-hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 6 months dialysis experience
License : Active license required; RN / LPN must have relevant state licensure, and Techs should have necessary state certification or be willing to obtain it
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified
Must-Have : Experience with Braun Dialysis machines
Job Description :
- Perform general dialysis duties, including setting up Braun machines.
- Access, connect, and disconnect patients as required.
- Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout the dialysis process.
- Complete Epic charting for patient records.
- Utilize equipment such as Braun and Crit Line machines efficiently.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 : 1.
- Adhere to the unit dress code by wearing scrubs.
- Participate in unit-specific training and orientation, tailored to experience with machines and knowledge.
- Potentially float to other units or departments, though not required.
Additional Information : The position requires early start times, beginning at 4 : 45 a.m., and shifts generally end by 6 p.
m., with the latest being around 7 p.m.
