com to verify its validity.Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Occupational Health - PRN to support KDS and our government customer in Harpers Ferry, WV.

Work Hours : Services are to be provided between the hours of M-F 0600-1800. Must have flexibility to work either shift 0600-1430 or 0930-1800.

While clinics are closed on a federal holiday, however, prn staff may be requested to work of the surrounding days during the year (example : Christmas Eve, Friday after Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, etc.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to : Plans and provides comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards, uses judgment in assessing patient conditions, interprets guidelines, and modifies patient care as necessary, recognizes and determines proper action for medical emergencies, e.

g., calls 911 or takes preplanned emergency measures.Participates in all required training and competency assessments according to staffing contract and policies and SOPS to maintain ability to work in assigned clinic.

Provides healthcare services directly to clients according to scope of practice for state license, policy and SOP which may include the following : Performs components of physical exams which may include, but are not limited to, vital signs, height and weight, Audiometry, Vision testing, Phlebotomy, and TB skin testing.

Documentation of all clinical data on all required forms.Provides immunizations according to Koniag policies, SOPs, and Standing Orders.

Provide non-emergency care to clients.Provides emergency response and care according to BLS / AED protocol, policies, and SOPs.

Requirements : Graduation from an CCNE or ACEN accredited school of nursingUnrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of West VirginiaCurrent Healthcare provider BLS / AED recognized by the American Heart AssociationUS Citizenship required by government agency customerMust have valid Driver’s LicenseMandatory Pre-employment background check is requiredAbility to perform the physical requirements of the clinical nursing duties (e.

g., CPR performance, responding immediately to an emergency, carrying a thirty (30) pound Emergency Go-Bag, etc.) without accommodation as well as free from any communicable disease(s).

Ability to pass a Public Trust Background InvestigationAt least 2 years’ experience providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, such as primary care, occupational health, urgent care or emergency department.

Working Environment & ConditionsThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.

The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms;

talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
