About the Role

We aim to be the number one sports betting and online gaming company in the United States and as an early employee, you'll not only impact the company's success through your own work, but you'll have the opportunity to contribute across departments, shaping the future of the company.

You would be working with a team of experienced professionals, analyzing customer accounts for all verticals, and preventing risk and fraud.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Sportsbook operations on a shift by shift basis
• Monitor and make recommendations on Sports Book risk and liability, leading up to and during sporting events
• Ensure employees on shift adhere to established internal policies and procedures, and applicable jurisdictional regulations and laws
• Ensure Sportsbook area is clean and that equipment is in proper working condition daily
• Lead by example by demonstrating and executing BetMGM standards with guests and employees
• Approve over-the-limit wagers for the property and complimentary items for guests
• Ensure compliance with currency transaction requirements, Title 31, and money laundering and Suspicious Activity Reporting for Casinos (SARC) requirements
• Ensure a safe work environment through compliance with safety guidelines; identify potential safety hazards and report them, maintaining a professional department, company, and community reputation
• Monitor and address employee and guest concerns and issues
• Explain betting lines and odds to customers
• Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department
• Monitor all audiovisual equipment programming, ensuring it supports the wagering trends in the book
• Collaborate with cage management team and workforce management to ensure proper scheduling and labor levels
• Monitor labor levels daily and ensure efficiency

Essential Functions

Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in race / sports betting, gaming, or related field
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
• Working knowledge of Race and Sports
• Excellent customer service skills

Compensation

The annual pay rate for this position begins at $63,360. Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which include licensing obligations.

Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.

Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment.

Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
