Storm4 is currently partnered with a key client offering a Smart Home Energy Management System designed to reduce energy demand by identifying and managing wasted energy.

Their product range includes smart plugs, EV chargers, home batteries, and cloud integrations, all aimed at reducing pollution and shifting energy usage to less expensive times, ultimately saving customers money.

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Operations Program Manager (OPM) to oversee and enhance ongoing activities for all hardware products.

This role involves collaborating with various internal teams and external partners to maintain uninterrupted production with our overseas contract manufacturers, ensure supply chain reliability, and uphold high product quality standards.

Responsibilities :

• Manage relationships with overseas contract manufacturers to implement production plans, ensuring sales demand is met with timely deliveries and high-quality outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead post-ramp qualification (PRQ) activities, focusing on manufacturing process enhancements, cost-reduction initiatives, and exploring second source options.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to oversee the development, validation, and implementation of product updates or design enhancements.
• Create clear problem statements, project requirements, milestone schedules, and supporting documentation to aid decision-making and smooth implementation.
• Be proactive, detail-oriented, and enable cross-functional teams to make informed and timely decisions. Keep track of multiple tasks and ensure nothing is overlooked.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing & Operations Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Operations Program Manager in the consumer electronics sector, with a proven track record of shipping high-volume hardware products in collaboration with ODM or JDM partners overseas.

Experience with suppliers in India is a plus.

• Capable of clearly communicating technical issues to an executive audience.
• Knowledgeable in using JIRA and Confluence for issue tracking and project management.
• Experienced with PLM systems for BOM and E / MCO management, such as Arena.
• Willing and able to travel to overseas manufacturing partners and suppliers as needed.
