NET Technology StackLocation : Atlanta, GAEmployment Type : C2H Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong focus onQuality Assurance to join our Payment Gateway team.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technicalexpertise and a QA mindset, ensuring the highest standards of quality through automation, API testing,and functional testing activities.
This role will involve working closely with development teams toautomate and test payment gateway applications, ensuring a seamless and reliable product delivery.
Technical Skills : Must-Have :
- C# Programming : Strong expertise in C# for developing and maintaining test automation scripts.
- API Automation : Experience in testing REST and SOAP services, using appropriate API testing toolsand frameworks.
- Test Automation : Proven expertise with automation tools such as Selenium and CodedUI.
- BDD : Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using SpecFlow (Cucumber) for testautomation.
- SQL for Testing : Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and back-endfunctionality.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively, debugging bothapplication and automation scripts to identify root causes.
- Functional Testing Activities : Test Case Design & Execution : Develop detailed test cases that cover all scenarios including edgecases and execute them effectively.
Defect Tracking : Log, track, and manage bugs efficiently in bug management tool, documentingissues clearly with detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity analysis.
Risk Assessment : Continuously evaluate project risks and recommend actions to mitigate anypotential quality or delivery challenges.
Strong Analytical Skills : Utilize problem-solving abilities to identify, isolate, and resolve complexissues during testing phases. Good to Have :
- JIRA Expertise : Experience in using JIRA as a complete SDLC tool for managing test cases, bugs, andproject workflows.Behavioral / Soft Skills :
- Risk Assessment : Anticipate potential risks to project quality and timelines, recommendingpreventive measures early in the lifecycle.
- Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting issues,collaborating with developers, and discussing test results with stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail, ensuring thorough coverage of all scenarios during bothmanual and automated testing.
- Collaboration : Work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements andcontribute towards delivering high-quality software.
- Proactive QA Process Improvement : Continuously suggest and drive innovative changes to improveQA processes, tools, and methodologies.
