Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business.
A typical is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.
Kohler Experience Center is one of those trade names and is looking for a Sales Consultant (Showroom Sales) at their New York City, NY location.
Pay for Sales Consultant (Showroom Sales) is between $28.50 and $36.50 per hour at this location.

What you can expect in a KOHLER Design & Sales Consultant role at the Kohler Experience Center
- Model company culture to ensure all clients have a positive and gracious customer experience.
- Provide clients with in-depth knowledge of the Kohler house of brands and products.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of the Kohler house of brands as well as products to identify client needs and recommend services or products to meet those needs.
- Forge and develop client relationships to establish a generative book of business.
- Collaborate with Profit Center Manager on strategies to advance showroom trade business.
- Lead client meetings to review architectural drawings and specify products.
- Meet or exceed monthly assigned monthly sales goals.
- Create project quotes and process orders using Eclipse ERP system.
- Manage client orders from inception to completion to ensure timely release and receipt of procured products.
- Monitor bid opportunity queues to promote increased quotes to order stats.
- Monitor order queues to ensure consistent and informative communication with clients on order status, updates, as well as changes.
- Identify, and solve critical client issues as they may arise.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM platform daily to create and maintain project opportunities.
- Create project specification and submittal packets.
Qualifications :
- Prior industry sales experience preferred.
- Verifiable sales performance (ability to close sales; customer satisfaction and industry recognition).
- Proficient computer skills that can quickly translate to the use of our Eclipse system.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relations.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. They also handle tile and plumbing samples up to 10 pounds and are required to sit and stand throughout their 7.
5-hour daily shift. This is a 37.5 hour, five day work week including Saturday or Sunday.
