Associate General Counsel Role :
As the Associate General Counsel, you will primarily focus on facilitating successful real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on commercial development deals.
Take the lead on drafting and reviewing real estate agreements, including purchase and sale contracts, deeds, easements, and title transfer documents.
Manage the preparation and analyzation of financing documentation.
Draft and review commercial leases and management contracts.
Associate General Counsel will create and evaluate documents related to real estate ownership, such as LLC agreements, partnership agreements, and profit-sharing arrangements.
Review title insurance policies and commitments.
Assist with title resolution efforts.
Associate General Counsel will prepare and review mechanics' liens and lien releases.
Draft and evaluate agreements with developers and general contractors.
Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts.
Conduct legal research on real estate matters.
Associate General Counsel Background Profile :
Licensed by the State Bar of Texas.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
Experience working for a Real Estate Group is the preference, not interested in Title Company experience.
Must have strong experience with real estate transactions, deeds, easements, title transfers, sale agreements, financing documents, various commercial Real Estate agreements.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Capable of engaging with senior leadership.
