WEB DEVELOPER
AL DÍA seeks a full-time, on-site web developer with Drupal site-building and responsive theme expertise to :
- Develop, maintain and update our news platform based on Drupal PHP
- Work closely with editorial, business development and events teams on new initiatives and continued improvements to the CMS
- Develop custom Drupal plugins to add new fuctionality
- Constantly improve performance of existing code
- Ensure stability and up-time, and establish and maintain protocols regarding downtime or other website issues
- Build, test, debug, troubleshoot and re-factor new and existing code, front- and back-end; customize website templates within a nested architecture
- Familiarity with third party APIs, analytics and creating custom experiences based on user data
- Interest in journalism and community engagement
